Chicken Bread Pola
A delightful and flavorful dish that combines the essence of bread and chicken in a unique presentation.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1/2 kg Chicken(boneless
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- Salt, as needed
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 2 nos Onion(Big) Chopped into small pieces
- 2 nos Green chillies
- Curry leaves, a few
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
- Coriander leaves, a few
- 1 Full bread Bread
- 1 cup Milk
- 5 nos Eggs
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- Salt, a pinch
- For frying Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Chop the cleaned chicken pieces into small pieces and take it in a bowl.
Step 2
Add salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp pepper powder and 1 tsp chilly powder. Stir everything together thoroughly and set aside for a few minutes.
Step 3
Fry the chicken in hot oil and shred into small bits.
Step 4
Next, in the same oil used for frying chicken, add ginger garlic paste and sauté.
Step 5
Add chopped onion and give it a good stir in medium flame.
Step 6
Add green chillies, curry leaves, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp chilly powder and give it a good stir.
Step 7
Add shredded chicken and coriander leaves and Stir everything together thoroughly. take it off the heat. Set aside.
Step 8
Get 1 cup milk in a bowl and break 5 eggs, one by one, into the milk.
Step 9
Add 1/2 tsp pepper powder and a pinch of salt. Beat the egg mixture well.
Step 10
Get a non-stick pan and add oil. Dip the bread pieces in the egg mixture and layer the bottom of the pan.
Step 11
Add the previously prepared chicken mixture on top of the bread pieces.
Step 12
Again layer completely with the bread pieces on top of chicken.
Step 13
Pour the balance egg mixture on top of the pola.
Step 14
Cover the pan with a lid and keep in low flame for 20 minutes. After 18 minutes flip the bread pola upside down and keep for 2 more minutes until the outer side is slightly browned.
Step 15
Relish Chicken Bread Pola with tomato sauce.
Tip
Do not boil the curry hard after adding coconut milk. A gentle simmer is all you need — vigorous boiling can cause the coconut milk to split.
