Cheesy Masala Bread Omelette
A delightful creation that seamlessly merges the simplicity of a omelette with the rich and robust essence of spicy masala infused spices.
Ingredientsfor 1 servings
- 2 nos Bread Slices
- 1 slice Cheese slice
- 2 tbsp Onion — chopped
- 1 tbsp Tomato — chopped
- 1 nos Green chilly
- 1 String Curry leaves
- 2 nos Egg
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Chop all the veggies.
Step 2
In a roomy mixing bowl, and add eggs.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion, green chilly, curry leaves and tomato.
Step 4
Add kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
Step 5
Beat it until frothy.
Step 6
Heat a pan with oil on a medium flame. When the pan turns hot, pour the beaten eggs.
Step 7
Place two bread slices on top of the omelette.
Step 8
Place a cheese slice on top of one, keeping the flame low.
Step 9
Flip it and cook on low heat for two minutes (cover the pan with a lid).
Step 10
Cut and serve!
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
