Chakkakuru Mezhukkupuratti
It is a nadan kerala dish with jack fruit seed.It is a dish,It is a tasty and healthy dish too. I tested and learned this from my mom.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 cup Chakkakuru — sliced
- 2 tsp Coconut oil
- 2 tsp Chilli flakes
- 1 Onion
- 4 Green chilly
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 4 tsp Water
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing kerala chakka kuru mezhukkupuratti we have to peel the skin and slice chakkakuru into pieces.
Step 2
Set a kadai over medium heat and pour in the oil add onions,green chilly,red chilli flakes cook for a minute.
Step 3
Add this sliced chakkakuru into the kadai cook of 5 minutes until the masala is completly sticked with chakka kuru.
Step 4
Add chili powder,turmeric powder,salt and 3spoon water Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Now chakkakuru mezhukkupuratti is ready to serve.
Tip
Shred the vegetable as fine as you can — the thinner the cuts, the better the thoran. A sharp knife makes all the difference.
