Carrot Rava - Wheat Flour Dosa
Golden-brown and lightly crisp, this dosa is the kind of breakfast that works on busy mornings and lazy weekends alike. The batter keeps well in the fridge for two to three days.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1/2 cup Rava
- 2 cup Wheat flour
- 1 nos Carrot — grated
- 1 nos Green chillies — chopped
- 1 piece Ginger — chopped
- 3 nos Red onion — chopped
- Curry leaves, a few
- Coconut — grated
- Ghee, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing carrot rava - wheat flour dosa, mix rava, wheat flour, carrot, ginger, onion and curry leaves and salt.
Step 2
Add 3 1/2 cups of water and make a batter.
Step 3
Make dosa out of this batter. Pour ghee on sides. Serve hot.
Tip
A well-seasoned cast iron or non-stick tawa makes all the difference. If the dosa sticks, your pan needs more seasoning or the temperature is too low.
