Caramel Wheat Dosa
In the realm of culinary creativity, the Caramel Wheat Dosa emerges as a symphony of flavors, blending the wholesome goodness of wheat with the sweet enchantment of caramel.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- ½ cup Coconut — grated
- Salt as read
- Sugar, to taste
- Ghee, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
In a spacious mixing bowl, and add wheat flour.
Step 2
Mix wheat flour and grated coconut.
Step 3
Add water and a pinch of salt to the wheat flour and mix it to make a batter of dosa batter consistency.
Step 4
Heat a tawa and make thin dosas/crepes.
Step 5
Sprinkle some sugar immediately on top of the dosa.
Step 6
Smear a little ghee/oil.
Step 7
Cook on both sides. When both sides are done, transfer from the tawa to a plate.
Step 8
Caramel Dosa is ready. Serve hot.
Tip
Spread the batter in a quick circular motion from the centre outward. Do not go back over areas you have already spread.
