Cabbage-Gobhee-Muttai Kos Soup
Cabbage, onion, garlic and other ingredients are cooked together.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 250 g Cabbage — chopped
- 2 nos Cloves
- 1 nos Tomato — sliced
- 1 cup Carrot — diced
- 1/2 cup Vegetable broth
- 2 cup Water
- 1 nos Onion — chopped
- 1 nos Garlic clove — chopped
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
- Pepper powder A pinch
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 3 nos Shallots — sliced (Kunjulli)
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing cabbage soup, first cook cabbage, carrot, tomato with garlic, onion, salt and one cup of water in a pressure cooker.
Step 2
Cool the vegetables and blend in a mixer.
Step 3
Strain the soup, bring to boil and add vegetable broth and remove vessel from fire. In a frying pan, heat ghee and cook shallots. When the shallots are browned, pour it into the cabbage mixture.
Step 4
Pour it into a soup bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.

Cabbage soup, a complete healthy diet recipe is ready.
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
