Bull's Eye Roast | Fried Egg Bull’s Eye
A creative variation of the classic bull's eye egg dish. It takes the simple dish to a whole new level, combining bold spices, rich flavors, and a hearty texture.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 3 nos Eggs
- 2 nos Onion — chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic mixture — crushed
- 1 nos Tomato(Large — chopped
- 2 nos Green chillies — chopped
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Curry leaves, a few
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Pour oil into a pan and heat it and add chopped onion. cook it, stirring for few minutes.
Step 2
Stir in chopped tomato, crushed ginger-garlic and chopped green chillies. cook until it has softened.
Step 3
Next, add pepper powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and season with salt to your taste. cook for one minute on low-medium heat.
Step 4
Break 3 eggs and pour it over the masala.
Step 5
Add some curry leaves. Cover and Let it cook for 5 minutes on low-medium heat.
Step 6
Flip it and cook for few minutes.
Step 7
Stir everything together thoroughly and turn off the heat.
Step 8
Serve alongside chappathi, pathiri etc.
Tip
Frying the boiled eggs briefly before adding to the curry gives them a golden skin that holds up better in the gravy.
