Bread Sticks With Chicken Filling
Bread sticks with chicken filling is a good party snack. To make bread sticks spiced chicken filling is stuffed inside the bread, rolled and tawa fried.
Ingredientsfor 10 servings
- 10 piece Bread slices
- 2 nos Onion — chopped
- 1 nos Egg
- 3 nos Green chilly — chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Garam masala Pinch
- Red chilly, to taste
- Chicken Filling 1 cup
Preparation
Step 1
Boneless chicken breast pieces are marinated with 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp chilly powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and salt to taste. The chicken pieces are kept aside for 15 minutes and fried. The fried chicken pieces are later shredded. Next, Heat the oil in a vessel and cook onion, ginger, garlic and green chilly for 5 minutes. Add red chilly powder as needed, garam masala, coriander leaves and salt. cook again for 2 minutes. Stir in the shredded chicken, Stir everything together thoroughly and take it off the heat.
Step 2
Next, steam cook the bread slices for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Roll each of the slices with a rolling pin.
Step 4
Add little prepared chicken filling at one end of the bread slice and slowly roll it.
Step 5
Dip each rolled bread sticks in beaten egg mixture.
Step 6
Heat ghee in a nonstick pan and toast the bread slices turning the sides till golden brown.
Step 7
Bread sticks with chicken filling is ready to serve.
Tip
Marinate for at least 30 minutes if you can — the spices penetrate deeper and the chicken stays juicier.
