Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 150 g Carrot — chopped
- 150 g French beans — chopped
- ½ tsp Chili powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- ¼ cup Coconut — grated
- 2-3 tsp Coconut oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds /rye
- ½ tsp Whole jeera/cumin seeds
- ¼ tsp Fennel seeds/saunf
- 6-8 Curry leaves
- 2-3 Green chilies cut
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds/rye. When it crackles add the whole jeera/cumin seeds and fennel seeds/saunf.2)Add the curry leaves and green chilies.
Step 2
Add chopped carrots and french beans, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Step 3
Add a cup water and Continue cooking for 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 4
When the vegetables are cooked, add grated coconut and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 5
Serve it with rice.
