Banana Roast Easy
Pan-fried until the edges go dark and crispy, this banana fry is the kind of dish you eat standing in the kitchen before it ever reaches the table. Dry-roasted with spices and finished with a fistful of curry leaves.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 2 nos Banana ripe
- 4 tbsp Coccunut — grated
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cashew nuts — crushed
- 1 tbsp Kismiss
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- Elaichi powder a pinch
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the bananas in small cubes.
Step 2
Set a pan on the stove add ghee,add cashews and kissmiss and fry it.
Step 3
To the above add grated cocunut and when it become golden colour add banana.
Step 4
When the banana is partially cooked add sugar and elaichi powder.
Step 5
Cook untill it is completly roasted.
Step 6
Garnish with grated coccunut and nuts.serve hot!
Tip
Patience at the dry-roasting stage is everything. The longer you let the moisture evaporate, the more concentrated the flavour becomes.
