Banana Coconut Fry/pazham Varattiyadhu
Banana coconut fry/pazham varattiyadhu is a simple sweet snack made with bananas.bananas are the excellent source of vitamin B,soluble fibre,pottassium and they are good for kids.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 3 nos Ripe banana
- 1/2 cup Coconut — grated
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- Cardamom powder a small pinch
- 2 tbsp Cashew nuts
- 1 tbsp Raisins
- 4 tbsp Ghee
Preparation
Step 1
Cut bananas into small pieces.
Step 2
Heat ghee in a pan and fry bananas until it becomes lightly browned.
Step 3
Add grated coconut,sugar,cashew nuts,raisins and cardamom powder into it.fry it again for 3-4 minutes.
Step 4
Pazham varattiyadhu is ready to serve.
Tip
A heavy-bottomed pan or cast iron skillet gives you the best results for a proper Kerala fry. Thin pans burn the spices before the meat dries.
