Traditional Tasty Mambazha Pulissery

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- Mango : 2 (peeled off
- Chilli : 2 nos
- Yogurt : 2 cup
- Chilli powder, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Turmeric powder, to taste
- Mustard, to taste
- Uluva, to taste
- Vattal mulak, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Coconut : 1 cup
- 1 tsp 1 tsp (Jeerakam)
- Curry leaves : 3 leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Cut mango into small pieces.
Step 2
Get a utensil & pour some water. Add chopped mangoes,chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt & chilli. Boil the mixture.
Step 3
When that mixture is half boiled add grinded mixture to it. When it is boiled add yogurt.
Step 4
Place a pan on the stove. Pour some oil. Add mustard,uluva and vattal mulak, chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix and heat them.
Step 5
Add this to the utensil, heat all the mixture for a while.
Step 6
Mampazha pulisseri is ready.
Tip
Coconut oil is the default cooking fat in Kerala kitchens. It adds a depth of flavour that other oils simply cannot match in these recipes.
