Spicy Drumstick Chicken Fry
Spicy drumstick chicken fry is an indian food recipe that is easy to prepare and is a favourite for generation.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 4 Chicken legs
- 3 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- 2 small Ginger
- 2 Clove Garlic
- 4 Green chilly
- Coriander leaves little
- Curry leaves little
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- Oil, to taste
- Salt to t
Preparation
Step 1
Clean and wash chicken legs and make small slits on each leg pieces.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt and lemon juice.coat the chicken pieces well with it.
Step 3
In a mixer grind curry leaves,coriander leaves,ginger,garlic,green chilly and cumin seeds.
Step 4
Generously cover the chicken pieces with this mixture.
Step 5
Refrigerate and allow to marinate overnight or atleast 3-4 hours.
Step 6
Heat the oil in a vessel and add the marinated chicken pieces in the hot oil.fry in hot oil them by turning the pieces at regular intervals.so that the chicken gets cooked evenly with crisp outside.
Step 7
Turn the stove off when the chicken drumsticks are completely cooked.
Step 8
Now you can serve the spicy drumstick chicken fry with chappati,rotti etc.
Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
