Simple Salmon Fry
Pan-fried until the edges go dark and crispy, this mixed fry is the kind of dish you eat standing in the kitchen before it ever reaches the table. Dry-roasted with spices and finished with a fistful of curry leaves.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1 Lb Salmon — cut into small
- 2 tsp Fresh ground Black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 Pc Lime
- 1 tsp Red chilly powder
Preparation
Step 1
Squeeze the lime over the salmon.
Step 2
Mix little water and other ingredients to make a paste.
Step 3
Marinate the salmon with the above paste for 10 - 20 minutes.
Step 4
Pour some light oil (like Sunflower Oil ) in a flat pan and stir fry. Serve hot.
Tip
Patience at the dry-roasting stage is everything. The longer you let the moisture evaporate, the more concentrated the flavour becomes.
