Jaggery, dry ginger powder and other spices are mixed together in water.

- 2 tbsp Jaggery — grated
- Dry ginger powder A pinch, Chukku podi
- Black pepper powder A pinch
- 2 cup Water
- Cardamom powder A pinch
- Salt A pinch
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing panakam, dissolve the jaggery in water and strain it.
Step 2
Add all the other ingredients: dry ginger power, black pepper powder, cardamom powder, and salt into jaggery water.
Step 3
Keep in fridge till chilled.
Step 4
Panakam, a tradition tamil drink recipe is ready.
