Delicious Kerala Chicken With Red Wine

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 3 nos Chicken pieces skinless, boneless lean chicken pieces
- 2 nos Tomato — cut into small pieces
- 15 - Mushrooms small ones)((cut into small pieces
- 2 nos Onions — chopped
- 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- Salt, to taste
- 4 nos Cardamom (Elakka)
- 1/2 cup Red wine The one you get in US and not the one made in kerala which is very sweet
Preparation
Step 1
Cut chicken into small pieces.
Step 2
Mix it with chilly powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, garam masala and salt.
Step 3
Grill both mushrooms and chicken, till chicken is cooked in oven.
Step 4
It only takes 20 minutes.
Step 5
Cook onions with all the powders.
Step 6
Add cardamoms.
Step 7
When the chicken is done and onions are sauted, mix them together.
Step 8
Pour around half glass of red wine and cook the chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions well.
Step 9
After 5 - 10 minutes of sauting(when the dish becomes juicy), remove.
Step 10
Goes well with chappathi or rice.
Tip
Marinate for at least 30 minutes if you can — the spices penetrate deeper and the chicken stays juicier.
