Bread Dosa Restaurant Style
Golden-brown and lightly crisp, this dosa is the kind of breakfast that works on busy mornings and lazy weekends alike. The batter keeps well in the fridge for two to three days.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 4 slice Bread removing the brown edges
- 1 cup Rava
- 2 tbsp Maida / All purpose flour
- 1 cup Yoghurt/curd

- 1 nos Tomato small
- Ghee/Oil to cook the dosa
- Salt, as needed
Preparation
Step 1
Grind all the ingredients (except Onion, tomato and oil) and make a smooth batter by adding little water.I added 1/2 cup of water.
Step 2
Add finely chopped onion, finely chopped tomato and Stir everything together thoroughly. Add enough water and salt if needed.
Step 3
Heat the tawa/non -stick pan, pour a ladle of batter in the center of the pan.Make small dosa. Do not spread like normal dosas.
Step 4
Apply ghee on the top side of the dosa.Let the bottom side cook well and goes golden brown colour. Now flip it over and let the other side cook as well.
Step 5
Bread dosa is ready. Serve hot with /without chutneys.
Tip
A well-seasoned cast iron or non-stick tawa makes all the difference. If the dosa sticks, your pan needs more seasoning or the temperature is too low.
